About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer, Wireless to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is central to our Data-Wireless Systems group, where you will focus on DAS, ERCS, and cellular networks. You will be responsible for overseeing project planning and execution, ensuring that all work meets rigorous industry standards. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and project management, as you will provide guidance to your team, manage budgets and timelines, and conduct thorough technical reviews to keep our projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and commission cost-effective Neutral Host DAS systems for large-scale environments such as manufacturing facilities, airports, and major enterprises using iBwave software.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and field personnel to manage project schedules, budgets, and design criteria while coordinating with equipment manufacturers and contractors.
- Manage the full design process, including creating bills of materials, maintaining project drawings, and providing hands-on support for site walks, commissioning, and system troubleshooting.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in wireless engineering and a commitment to technical excellence. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in DAS design and integration.
- Proficiency in iBwave in-building RF design software, with certification preferred.
- An FCC General Radio Operators License.
- Field experience involving DAS integration, fiber optics, and category cabling.
- A solid understanding of 4G LTE and 5G technologies, along with experience working with various OEM platforms such as JMA, Corning, SOLiD, ADRF, and CommScope.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and lead project teams.
