At Work & Co, part of Accenture Song, we exist to build digital products that make a real, measurable impact. We bring together top-tier talent in strategy, design, and engineering to solve complex problems for some of the world's most influential brands, including Apple, IKEA, Google, and the PGA TOUR. Recognized by Forrester Research as a model for the industry, we pride ourselves on a culture where designers act as strategists and every team member stays deeply involved in the craft of building. We are looking for people who want to move beyond the surface and create work that truly resonates.
The role
We are seeking a Design Director to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position for a creative leader who believes that the soul of a product is found in how it functions. You will work directly with our partners in a flat structure, meaning you will be hands-on with the work rather than managing from the sidelines. If you are someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to shape the future of digital services, this role is for you.
Core responsibilities
- Maintain a relentless focus on crafting exceptional digital products that solve genuine user needs.
- Drive the product lifecycle from initial strategy and early prototyping through to final launch and ongoing optimization.
- Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and fellow strategists to iterate on designs informed by user research and market trends.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep understanding of both the creative and strategic sides of product development. We value candidates who possess the following:
- A proven track record of developing creative concepts and executing them through to high-fidelity, detailed design.
- Strong expertise in solving intricate UX challenges and delivering high-quality visual design solutions.
- The ability to extract business insights and user behaviors to inform product strategy.
- Experience thriving in highly iterative environments where sharing work and receiving feedback is a daily practice.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize and present your ideas clearly.
- Proficiency with modern prototyping tools.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000. Your final compensation will be determined based on your unique experience, skills, and market conditions. As a full-time employee, you will also be eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
How to apply
If you are ready to apply your design expertise to products that reshape industries, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to our team to share your portfolio and your background. We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can do their best work.
