What you bring
As a Mid-Level Design Developer 2 for our Veilance line, you will work on-site in North Vancouver to turn creative visions into fully resolved product solutions. You will be a hands-on builder who bridges the gap between initial design intent and final production. Your work will be central to our seasonal inline development and prototyping efforts.
- Develop unique product solutions through sketching, patterning, and concept prototyping that align with our design philosophy.
- Create production-ready garments and the necessary technical documentation to ensure scalability in a bulk manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate closely with designers, pattern makers, and product developers to document new construction techniques and manufacturing solutions.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses at least three years of experience in a technical design environment and holds a degree or diploma in Fashion Design. You should have a deep understanding of sewing, building, and pattern making. Technical proficiency is essential, specifically with CLO3D, Adobe Illustrator, and CAD software such as Gerber. You must be comfortable using Microsoft Office and be able to learn new applications quickly. Beyond your technical skills, we value candidates who are proactive problem solvers, highly adaptable to ambiguity, and capable of balancing independent work with team collaboration. Proficiency in English is required, and you must be eligible to work in Canada.
