Deployed Engineer: CoEm at Conjecture

We are Conjecture, an AI research and deployment company focused on advancing cognitive emulation through our CoEm framework. Our work helps leading enterprises adopt a new paradigm of AI that goes beyond conventional models, and we are looking for engineers who want to bring these ideas directly into real-world client environments.

What is this role?

This is a full-time, senior-level Deployed Engineer position based on-site in the United Kingdom. You will operate as the technical lead for individual client engagements, taking ownership of projects from initial discovery through to delivery and iteration.

What will you do?

• Partner with Technical Product Managers to diagnose client challenges and design tailored technical solutions grounded in CoEm principles.
• Develop production-ready applications on top of machine-learning APIs, including intuitive front-end interfaces, while rapidly iterating based on user feedback and performance data.
• Build supporting tooling for model inference, visualisation, and infrastructure, and generate fresh product or tool concepts that enterprises can run on modern AI models.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a senior engineer who thrives when given end-to-end ownership and can move quickly from problem exploration to shipped software. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly present architecture decisions and progress updates to client executives. You have previously taken products from zero to one in client-facing B2B settings and are comfortable balancing detailed coding tasks with larger strategic questions. Experience with PyTorch, Kubernetes-style orchestration systems, or implementing techniques from research papers is a plus, as is genuine interest in the long-term impact of safe and beneficial AI. You are willing to travel to client sites for up to 25 percent of your time and are fluent in English.
