AMIRI is looking for a talented Senior Denim Designer to join our team on a full-time basis at our offices in Italy. We are a luxury fashion house known for our distinct aesthetic, and we are excited to bring someone on board who can help us push the boundaries of our denim and outerwear collections.
Responsibilities
- You will work closely with our Menswear Design Director to execute seasonal projects and daily design tasks, with a primary focus on denim and outerwear categories.
- You will be responsible for conducting thorough trend and vintage research to build seasonal concepts, while maintaining detailed digital boards throughout the design process.
- You will handle the creation and management of technical packs, coordinate with the sample room for fittings, and ensure all design specifications are accurately communicated to the technical team.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in the luxury fashion sector and a deep understanding of garment construction. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience specifically within denim and outerwear design.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and digital sketching tools like Procreate.
- A sophisticated design sensibility combined with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various materials, trims, and the technical requirements needed to hand off designs to production.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in both collaborative team environments and independent work settings.
- Fluency in English.
