We are currently expanding our presence in Nigeria and the UK, and we are looking for a talented Data Science Manager to join our team. Key outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts to build a world-class data function.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with our broader business objectives.
- Champion a culture of rigorous experimentation, utilizing advanced A/B testing frameworks to guide product and marketing decisions.
- Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines.
- Drive actionable insights through advanced modeling, including the development of Marketing Mix Models and customer segmentation analysis.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering leadership to ensure data integrity and strategic alignment across the organization.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience, typically totaling at least 8 years, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or data leadership role.
- Deep expertise in experimentation methodologies, including multivariate testing and variance reduction techniques.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Proven ability to architect and manage data pipelines using cloud platforms, specifically BigQuery and Clickhouse.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable data projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working with marketing and advertising data to drive business growth.
- Fluency in English.
