What is this role?
We are looking for a Data Operations Engineer to join our team in a full-time, mid-level capacity. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a focus on collaborative connection. You will be instrumental in maintaining and scaling our data annotation production processes, ensuring that our workflows remain efficient and highly accurate.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and custom tools to automate repetitive tasks and streamline our data annotation workflows.
- Analyze our data pipelines to identify bottlenecks, implementing technical solutions that improve overall throughput and scalability.
- Collaborate with our quality assurance teams to troubleshoot data issues and ensure that all labeling outputs meet our high standards for accuracy.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for solving complex operational problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical role, supported by a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python scripting and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines, workflow management, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with data annotation platforms, specifically Labelbox.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a track record of optimizing technical processes.
- Fluency in English.
