Data Engineer at Zoo

The role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role for someone who wants to help us scale our machine learning initiatives. You will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with a lean, ambitious group of innovators to build and manage the data ecosystem that powers our platform.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated systems for collecting data from a wide variety of sources.
• Design and implement robust data warehousing solutions to effectively store and manage our growing datasets.
• Build and manage ETL pipelines to transform raw information into structured, high-quality datasets ready for machine learning applications.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for hardware design data. We require the following qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Data Engineering, specifically with Python.
• Deep knowledge of CAD principles and how to integrate design data into modern systems.
• Extensive experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data munging.
• Proficiency using Git for version control.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 USD. In addition to your base pay, you will receive the following benefits:
