What is this role?
We are seeking a Customer Retention Marketer to join us on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a mid-level position reporting to our Senior Manager. You will be at the heart of our efforts to grow and engage our digital subscribers, using your strategic mindset to maximize the value of our relationships with our readers.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute innovative marketing programs that improve customer engagement and retention across multiple channels, including email and personalized on-site experiences.
- Manage our outsourced customer care operations to ensure our service standards and compliance policies are consistently met.
- Oversee our institutional sales programs, which includes handling RFP communications, managing contracts, and setting up campaigns for group sales and renewals.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, ideally within a B2C or subscription-based environment. We are looking for someone who is data-driven and comfortable synthesizing insights to guide our leadership team. You should be highly proficient in Excel and possess strong skills in segmentation, email marketing, and web analytics. While not required, familiarity with HTML and CSS is considered a plus. Above all, you should be an ethical communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams to create seamless customer experiences.
