We are looking for a driven marketer who can turn that rich audience connection into lasting reader relationships through thoughtful, data-led campaigns.
About the Role
We are hiring a CRM Marketing Manager on a full-time, remote basis. In this position you will own every stage of our reader-engagement programs-from building segments and journeys to deploying messages across email, push, and in-app channels-while exploring new ways to bring automation and AI into our workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and run end-to-end campaigns that strengthen reader habits, improve retention, and convert subscribers through coordinated email, push, and in-app efforts.
- Design and launch automation, personalization, and testing programs that improve targeting accuracy and speed up production.
- Monitor list health and deliverability while collaborating with Design, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to keep our channels reliable and innovative.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on experience building, launching, and measuring marketing-automation campaigns with a primary focus on email.
- Proven success working inside enterprise CRM platforms such as Iterable, Braze, or Sailthru, along with solid HTML skills for template work.
- Strong ability to create complex audience segments, suppression logic, and A/B tests, plus clear project-management and stakeholder-communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; an interest in sports, technology, or media is welcomed but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $75,000–$92,000 USD. In addition, we offer employer-contributed medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement savings with employer match; generous paid time off including sick leave, 12 holidays, 15 vacation days to start, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave; plus savings accounts for medical, wellness, and childcare expenses.
