The opportunity
We are looking for a Creative Services Director to join our team in an on-site, full-time capacity. In this senior role, you will be the heartbeat of our station's promotional efforts. You will lead the charge in marketing our news programming, streaming apps, and web products, ensuring our brand remains a household name. You will also act as a strategic partner to our sales team, helping to develop high-impact campaigns that drive revenue for our local advertising clients. A day in the life
- You will guide and inspire a team of talented creatives, fostering a culture of innovation while managing the entire production process from initial brainstorming and script development to final execution.
- You will collaborate closely with station leadership to develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, utilizing data and research insights to grow our audience across linear and digital platforms.
- You will work hand-in-hand with our local sales department to design and produce revenue-driving campaigns that help our clients succeed while maintaining our high standards for quality and brand integrity.
Who you are
You are a seasoned marketing professional with at least 5 years of experience in broadcast, digital, or agency environments. You bring a passion for local news and a deep understanding of how to translate broadcast concepts into engaging digital and social media experiences. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where breaking news is part of the rhythm, and you possess the leadership skills to mentor a team and present strategies to stakeholders at all levels. You have a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects, and you are fluent in English.
