Creative Manager at Kickstarter PBC

Kickstarter is the premier crowdfunding platform dedicated to bringing creative projects to life. Since 2009, we have empowered creators across film, games, music, art, and technology, helping over 272,000 projects secure more than $8.5 billion in funding. We are currently looking for a Senior Creative Manager to join our fully remote, global team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead our creative design process from initial concept to final execution, ensuring that our visual identity remains impactful and consistent across all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage creative vendors: You will source and oversee external partners, including agencies and freelancers, to ensure all deliverables align with our high quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Lead creative projects: You will take ownership of the entire design lifecycle, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver assets that meet our strategic business objectives.
• Execute hands-on design: You will drive the creation of compelling visual assets for digital, print, and experiential projects while maintaining a consistent brand voice across all consumer touchpoints.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in creative design, with a minimum of 2 years spent managing creative operations and external vendors.
• Expertise in graphic design and proficiency with industry-standard tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to handle complex, multi-faceted projects independently.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• A background in sectors such as media, e-commerce, or technology, along with a solid understanding of UI/UX principles and digital content creation.
