What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Creative Director to join us on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a pivotal leadership position where you will act as the bridge between our product, publishing, and marketing teams. You will be responsible for defining our visual identity and ensuring that our design language is intuitive, engaging, and seamlessly integrated across all our digital platforms.
What will you do?
- Lead Visual Strategy: Serve as the daily steward for the JioCinema brand, shaping its visual presence across all touchpoints while collaborating with the Chief Design Officer to maintain a cohesive and high-performing identity.
- Direct Creative Output: Oversee graphic design creation within our product ecosystem, including feature graphics, onboarding materials, and interface elements, while integrating motion and interaction design to enhance user engagement.
- Manage and Inspire: Lead a distributed team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence while managing multiple projects to ensure they align with our strategic business goals.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in digital product design and a passion for storytelling. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 6 years of professional experience in graphic or product design, specifically in roles such as Art Director, Creative Director, or Design Lead.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating your ability to handle both creative direction and hands-on production across product, marketing, and motion graphics.
- Deep expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and After Effects.
- A proven track record of leading design teams and collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners like engineers, product managers, and data analysts.
- The ability to shift between different scales of work, from small in-app banners to large-scale out-of-home advertising.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate design rationale and lead stakeholders through the creative process.
