Since our start in 2014, we have grown from a small Australian startup into a global powerhouse, serving consumers and over 1,000 brand partners across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. We are currently seeking a talented Copywriter to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this hybrid role, based in either Sydney or Melbourne, you will play a vital part in elevating our brand as we expand our presence into Canada.
Key outcomes
- Manage campaign translations using the Crowdin AI platform.
- Write, edit, and deliver engaging copy tailored for a Canadian audience across print, television, and radio.
- Collaborate with our design and marketing teams to brainstorm concepts and develop messaging that resonates with our customers.
- Utilize your storytelling expertise to drive engagement throughout every stage of the customer journey.
- Implement SEO best practices to increase the reach of your content while maintaining our unique brand voice.
- Perform thorough proofreading to ensure all materials are accurate and adhere to our internal guidelines.
- Conduct research and interviews while sourcing relevant imagery to support your content.
- Maintain availability for occasional out-of-hours contact to support our global operations and address urgent matters.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a copywriter, demonstrated through a diverse portfolio that includes social media content, scripts, web copy, and direct marketing.
- Strong understanding of online content strategy and creation.
- Excellent skills in writing, editing, proofreading, and research.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality grammar and style.
- A bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress.
- The ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience writing for a specific brand across various media channels.
- Fluency in French or experience writing for the Canadian English market.
