The role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Copywriter to join our team in Lisbon on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role designed for a creative professional who can seamlessly adopt our brand voice across various digital touchpoints. You will work closely with our multi-channel functions, including digital marketing, content, social media, and our creative studio, to ensure our messaging remains engaging and consistent.

Core responsibilities

• Develop compelling product descriptions for all categories and write engaging blog posts that support our marketing, product, and sports-related messaging.
• Manage the formatting of blog content within WordPress using basic HTML and apply introductory SEO techniques to improve visibility.
• Craft targeted copy for CRM initiatives, including subject lines, email content, push notifications, and message center updates.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and technical expertise:

• A bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting, English Language and Literature, or Advertising and Marketing.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in copywriting, with a preference for candidates who have a background in the retail sector.
• Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and C1-level fluency in English.
• Technical familiarity with tools such as WordPress, HTML, Microsoft Office, GUI, Shogun, Fredhopper, and PIM systems.
