About the Role
We are looking for a Copywriter to join our in-house marketing team on a full-time basis. This mid-level position reports to our Creative Director and is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in shaping our brand voice and driving engagement across a variety of traditional and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling marketing messages across diverse channels, including email campaigns, video scripts, direct mail, and print collateral.
- Craft clear, persuasive copy that motivates users and simplifies the benefits of our banking products.
- Collaborate effectively with internal business units, as well as legal and compliance teams, to ensure all messaging is accurate and impactful.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within an in-house or external advertising agency.
- A post-secondary degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Figma.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your ability to generate creative concepts and execute campaign-level ideas.
- Proven experience in researching and writing under tight deadlines, with a solid understanding of email and direct mail best practices.
Location
This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, and operates on a hybrid work model. You will spend your in-office time at our location at 351 King Street East.
