We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our in-house marketing team in Toronto. As Canada’s Challenger Bank, we have spent over 50 years transforming the financial landscape, and we currently manage over $100 billion in assets to help enrich the lives of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling marketing messages for various channels, including email, direct mail, video scripts, online ads, and print collateral.
- Collaborate effectively with internal business units, as well as legal and compliance teams, to refine and finalize content.
- Maintain deep product knowledge to ensure all copy is clear, relevant, and conversion-focused.
- Mentor junior writers and maintain high creative standards across all projects.
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative creative team to meet deadlines.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of professional copywriting experience within an ad agency or an in-house creative team.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to generate campaign-level ideas and creative concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven experience in researching, self-editing, and writing under tight deadlines.
- A solid understanding of best practices for email and direct mail marketing.
- Post-secondary education in English, Communications, or a related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience or familiarity with the financial services or fintech sector.
- Working knowledge of Figma.
