Role at a glance
This is a full-time, mid-level position within our marketing team. You will have the opportunity to define our brand voice across a variety of channels and projects. This is a hybrid role, and we are looking for someone who can work from our offices in major US markets, with a preference for Chicago or New York City, for two to three days each week.
Your impact
- You will write and edit compelling copy for everything from advertising campaigns and website experiments to sales collateral and member communications.
- You will take ownership of our tone of voice guidelines, ensuring that our brand attributes-warm, elevated, smart, and joyful-remain consistent across every touchpoint.
- You will collaborate closely with our creative team and executive leadership to translate our strategy into clear, human-centered messaging that resonates with our diverse audiences.
What you'll need
- Three to five years of professional experience in copywriting and editing, ideally within a well-known brand or agency setting.
- A bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft clever, brand-aligned content.
- A highly organized mindset, allowing you to manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluency in English and a proactive approach to solving problems and brainstorming fresh ideas.
Perks and compensation
The annual base salary for this role is between $65,000 and $75,000. In addition to your base pay, you will be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
