About the Role
We are seeking a Copywriter to join our in-house marketing team on a full-time basis. This mid-level position reports to our Creative Director and focuses on crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. You will play a vital role in shaping our brand voice and ensuring our marketing efforts are both impactful and clear.
Key Responsibilities
- Create persuasive marketing messages across various platforms, including email campaigns, video scripts, direct mail, print collateral, and online advertisements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal business units, as well as legal and compliance teams, to ensure all copy is accurate and meets our high standards.
- Craft clear and personally relevant content that motivates users to engage with our products while maintaining a deep understanding of our target audience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in an in-house or external agency environment with exposure to both digital and print media.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to generate creative concepts and campaign-level ideas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Figma.
- A post-secondary degree in English, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to conduct research, self-edit, and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Location
This role is based in Toronto, Canada. We operate on a hybrid work model, with in-office time spent at our location at 351 King Street East.
