At Hometap, we are dedicated to making homeownership more accessible and less stressful through our innovative home equity investment product. We help homeowners unlock the value they have built in their properties without the burden of monthly loan payments or interest, and we are looking for a creative Copywriter Intern to join our collaborative, award-winning team.
Responsibilities
- Draft compelling copy for a variety of channels, including blog posts, social media content, and internal communications like new hire bios.
- Develop a deep understanding of our brand voice to ensure consistency across all messaging.
- Collaborate directly with our Senior Brand Copywriter and design team to iterate on content using tools like Canva and Google Docs.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop fresh concepts for our social media presence.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and incorporating constructive feedback.
Must-haves
- Six months to one year of experience in copywriting, content writing, or journalism.
- Practical knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Proficiency with Canva and strong time management skills.
- An active interest in current marketing trends, pop culture, and social media developments.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and build strong professional relationships.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience or familiarity with Figma.
