We are looking for a Copy Lead, Studio to join Upwork's Creative Team. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and oversee the studio copy teams’ work across various touchpoints, including marketing collateral, on-platform content, web, events, social media, and more. You will ensure all written communication adheres to our brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice and tone. Responsibilities

• Contribute to and oversee studio copy teams’ work across a variety of touchpoints, including marketing collateral, on-platform content, web, events, social media, and more.
• Ensure all written communication adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining consistency of voice and tone.
• Independently write high-quality copy and serve as a mentor to other writers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate ideas to stakeholders in clear, concise ways for both marketing and product audiences.

What it takes to catch our eye

• 8+ years of experience at an in-house department or studio, writing for brand and product.
• Experience managing other writers and teams.
• Ability to independently shape the team's work throughout development while ensuring high-level execution.
• Experience writing for a variety of mediums and disciplines.
• Experience with emerging technologies, including AI.
• Detail-oriented with a thinker/maker mindset.
• Organized, self-driven, detail-oriented, and excellent in multitasking.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
