What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. Based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Union, South Carolina, you will play a vital role in scaling our production capacity through advanced automation and electrical systems. Your work will directly influence our ability to meet market demand while maintaining our commitment to sustainability. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing, installing, and validating electrical systems, including power distribution and process control infrastructure.
- Leading the implementation of automation solutions and control systems to enhance manufacturing reliability and throughput.
- Collaborating with operations teams to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and minimize downtime.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in electrical engineering and manufacturing design. We are looking for a candidate who holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has at least four years of experience in high-volume industries like automotive or consumer products. You should be highly proficient with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems, as well as ABB and Fanuc robotics. A deep understanding of electrical codes, project management, and the ability to diagnose hardware and software issues are essential.
