The opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Contract Road Sales Representative to join our team in New York City. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a genuine passion for the hospitality and interior design sectors. You will serve as a vital link between our brand and the design community, focusing on the contract side of our business. Your work will directly influence our presence in the market as you build lasting partnerships and showcase our extensive range of furniture, lighting, textiles, and wallcoverings to industry professionals.
A day in the life
- You will proactively connect with clients through office visits and industry events to forge new relationships and nurture existing ones, ensuring our brand remains top of mind.
- You will manage the full sales cycle, which includes conducting product presentations, assisting clients with design schemes, and utilizing our CRM technology to track progress and optimize your sales strategy.
- You will act as a consultant for our customers by maintaining their library samples and partnering with our showrooms to maximize opportunities across a diverse portfolio of contract accounts.
Who you are
You are an entrepreneurial professional with a strong background in outside sales, specifically within the interior design or contract industry. You possess a sharp eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a natural ability to follow through on complex projects. We value candidates who have a sincere interest in the design world and are eager to grow their business. Proficiency in English is required, and while not mandatory, experience with furniture, floor coverings, and CRM software is considered a significant advantage.
