Role at a glance
We are seeking a Mid-Level Content Writer to join our marketing team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within our established states, allowing you to contribute to our category-leading product while collaborating with a world-class team.
Your impact
- Produce and refine high-quality content focused on essential benefits programs like SNAP and Medicaid to ensure our users have clear, accurate information.
- Drive our search strategy by implementing SEO best practices, identifying content gaps, and optimizing existing pages to maintain top rankings.
- Collaborate across teams to repurpose content for various audiences and partner with policy experts to ensure every piece of writing meets our high standards for clarity and accuracy.
What you'll need
- At least 2 years of professional experience writing or editing content specifically for search.
- Strong technical proficiency with SEO tools, Content Management Systems, and project management platforms like Airtable or Notion.
- A proactive mindset regarding AI technology and a genuine interest in leveraging new tools to streamline editorial workflows.
- Fluency in English and a demonstrated ability to manage projects independently while meeting consistent deadlines.
Perks and compensation
The expected compensation for this position is $80,000 - $85,000, determined by how your experience aligns with our internal leveling standards.
