We are looking for a dedicated Content Writer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in India. At Jar, we are building a habit-forming micro-savings platform that allows users to invest in 24K digital gold starting from just ₹10. Our mission is to break down the psychological barriers to saving and investing, driving a financial fitness revolution for Bharat. Beyond our core app, we have expanded our ecosystem to include Jar Ready Cash for digital lending and Nek, our affordable luxury jewellery brand. We are seeking creative problem solvers who want to help us impact the financial journeys of over 400 million people.
Responsibilities
- Research, draft, and refine high-quality content across our website, blog, social media, and email marketing channels.
- Develop comprehensive content strategies and generate fresh topics based on current market trends, financial analysis, and user insights.
- Translate complex financial concepts into accessible, engaging articles, guides, and whitepapers while collaborating with financial experts to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in content writing, specifically within the finance sector.
- A deep understanding of personal finance, banking, investments, and current economic trends.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with a sharp eye for detail.
- Proven research skills and the capacity to synthesize information for a non-expert audience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative mindset with a focus on SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
