At ScaleMath we help the world's leading companies improve how they acquire and serve customers. Since 2017 we have grown into a bootstrapped, profitable, fully distributed team of marketers, makers, and operators who deliver work that customers return to again and again. We stay focused on exceptional outcomes rather than long hours, and we keep the company calm so everyone can do their best work and take real time off.
The role
We are hiring a Senior Content Specialist to join us full time in a fully remote position. You will sit at the center of our content practice, partnering closely with the Operations Team and the Head of Content to plan, create, and refine material that supports both ScaleMath and the industry-leading clients we serve.
Core responsibilities
- Plan, write, edit, and manage long-form and supporting content across blogs, guides, white papers, case studies, email campaigns, webinar decks, sales collateral, and video scripts.
- Own and maintain the master content calendar, ensuring every piece aligns with client goals, SEO requirements, and scheduled promotions.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices, supply meta descriptions, and shape distribution strategies that reach audiences through search, social, and email.
Skills and experience
You bring several years of professional content experience and treat writing as a long-term craft. You are fluent in written English, comfortable explaining technical subjects such as Docker, Laravel, PHP, and WordPress, and you know how to build narratives that connect reader needs to a product or service. You understand SEO, content distribution channels, and how to create a content strategy for a defined audience. You have worked successfully on remote teams without close supervision, you welcome constructive feedback, and you hold yourself to high standards of grammar, style, and clarity. A degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is helpful but not required.
Compensation and benefits
We offer flexible working hours with an ideal five-to-six-hour overlap in the UK time zone, twenty days of paid holiday each year, and the freedom to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
How to apply
If this description resonates with you, please send a tailored cover letter that introduces you as a future colleague, shares examples of your strongest work and the results it achieved, your CV, and a short video explaining why you are a good fit. We review every application carefully and respond promptly, though we may not always move immediately to interviews. The position will close once we find the right person, so take the time to make your application stand out.
