The opportunity
As our Content Marketing Manager for Japan, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our brand resonates with local audiences. You will work alongside our Content Marketing Lead to design and deliver music-led marketing initiatives that make a real cultural impact. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will own the entire lifecycle of our marketing campaigns. You will be the bridge between our global vision and the unique, vibrant landscape of the Japanese market, ensuring that our partnerships with artists and brands feel authentic, relevant, and exciting.
A day in the life
- You will partner with internal teams and external agencies to develop and execute creative, high-impact marketing campaigns that drive engagement and content consumption across Japan.
- You will manage long-term relationships with brand partners, building a comprehensive partner marketing playbook that amplifies our brand value throughout the year.
- You will translate global best practices into locally relevant strategies, using data to measure success and constantly refining our approach to stay ahead of industry trends.
Who you are
You are a senior-level marketing professional with at least six years of experience navigating the complexities of the Japanese market. You understand the power of integrated communications, and you have a proven ability to build strong, lasting relationships with external partners. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you must balance multiple priorities, and you are not afraid to navigate ambiguity to find the right solution. You are data-driven, highly organized, and possess a sharp eye for detail. Most importantly, you are a true fan of music and audio content who stays deeply connected to the latest trends in Japanese social media and entertainment. You are fluent in both Japanese and English, allowing you to communicate effectively across our global organization.
