What You’ll Do
Gabb, the trailblazing safe tech company for kids, is on the hunt for a Content Director who's ready to unleash their creativity and lead our content charge.
Are you a content maestro with a knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with parents, spark kids' imaginations, and build brand awareness? As our Content Director, you'll be the visionary behind our content strategy, steering our team of talented creators to deliver engaging experiences across all channels. You'll be the master storyteller, crafting captivating narratives that educate, inspire, and ignite a passion for Gabb's mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive content writing that helps in building the Gabb brand and generates excitement and passion for providing kids and families with safe tech.
- Manage and maintain Gabb's content library, including the online style guide.
- Oversee all aspects of content creation, including ideation, production, distribution, and measurement.
- Analyze content performance and use insights to produce better content and stay ahead of market trends and needs.
- Manage a growing team of content writers and copywriters committed to publishing a regular stream of content.
- Collaborate with Creative and Growth teams to develop compelling ad copy that drives sales and brand awareness, while establishing and maintaining best practices for future campaigns.
- Constantly collaborate with other internal teams to help support Gabb's overall goals through content writing.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in content marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience building, managing, and running content strategy and operations.
- Familiarity with content writing within the B2C or eCommerce industries.
- Proven work experience managing content strategy with an insights-led approach.
- Mastery of multiple form factors, specifically short-form and long-form.
- Strong understanding of content marketing and how to use content to drive awareness and sales.
