What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Community Lead for Research to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a strategic role where you will act as a champion for Prolific within both academic and industry research circles. You will focus on building authentic, grassroots connections that establish us as the go-to partner for behavioral research, turning individual researchers into long-term advocates for our mission.
What will you do?
- Build genuine, one-on-one relationships with researchers that scale into broader advocacy and organic adoption across their institutions.
- Create high-quality educational content, such as methodology guides and best practices, that directly addresses the real-world challenges researchers face.
- Lead our events strategy by managing logistics, content programs, and speaking engagements at key academic and industry conferences to represent Prolific.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in research methodologies, particularly within the behavioral or social sciences. We are looking for someone who speaks English fluently and possesses the following qualities:
- A proven track record of fostering community-led growth and building authentic relationships within research environments.
- The ability to translate complex researcher pain points into actionable insights for our product and go-to-market teams.
- Experience in developing bottom-up advocacy programs where individual champions drive wider institutional change.
- A talent for creating helpful, non-promotional content that genuinely supports the research community.
- It is a bonus if you have published peer-reviewed research or have experience organizing workshops and symposiums.
