Job Type: Temporary-Full-Time, Hourly - Non-Exempt - $23.50/hr.
Job Location: Kodiak HQ: Park City, Utah – On-Site/Hybrid
Individual base salary for this role ultimately will depend on numerous factors, including but not limited to experience, job-related skills, relevant education or training, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate could fall anywhere within the stated range. Beyond base salary, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment. This role also is eligible to participate in Kodiak's annual discretionary bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including individual and company performance.
We are looking for a talented community coordinator to create and maintain a strong online presence for our company. You will be the voice of Kodiak Cakes as you interact with our fans daily. This is a very important position for our company, as social media has been one of our biggest drivers of growth. We want someone that lives to make meaningful connections and is passionate about making Kodiak Cakes loved by all!
What will this position do?
Interacting with our social community:
- You will be responsible for replying to direct messages, engagement on owned social media & consumer posts (including, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) on behalf of Kodiak.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of brand responses as well as efficiency in the day-to-day of the role.
- Be prepared to proactively research and engage with user generated content.
- Nurture our brand voice in consumer interactions to reflect the genuine and playful nature of our brand.
- Track our consumer comments, questions, and concerns to monitor trends.
- Execute on our surprise and delight program.
- Manage and deliver product from our headquarters in Park City, ensuring they get to their intended destination in a timely manner.
- Ensure best-in-class customer service with timely responses to negative and positive feedback.
- Familiarize yourself and educate others about the Kodiak culture and brand.
What are we looking for?
- Understanding of social networks best practices, functionality, users across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: always thinking, “If this were my company, I would…”
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively build relationships
- Strong written communication skills. Excellent grammar/proofreading skills
- Extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and think beyond what is in front of you
- Team player with a passion to work with others while maintaining an entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit
- Ability to quickly adopt and retain high-level knowledge and expertise on Kodiak Cakes products
Ideally you may also have:
- Experience working in social media
- Strong customer service background
