About the Role
We are looking for a Community and Content Associate to join us in a full-time, mid-level capacity. In this role, you will be the voice of our brand, crafting content and interactions that resonate with engaged couples and wedding vendors alike. You will report directly to our Social Media Manager and work in a hybrid environment at our NYC office, helping us solidify Zola as the premier destination for all things wedding-related.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage our community engagement efforts by sourcing user-generated content, coordinating surprise and delight initiatives, and maintaining active, meaningful conversations with our audience.
- Lead our social listening strategy to identify trends and opportunities that boost our reach and affinity across all social platforms.
- Develop and execute creative content ideas from start to finish, while supporting our team with compelling copywriting and narrative building across our website and social channels.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:
- Two to three years of professional experience in community management or copywriting, ideally within a consumer-facing or content-driven brand.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a proven talent for adapting your tone to match a specific brand voice.
- A high level of comfort with content creation, including experience with mobile video and basic editing tools like TikTok or Adobe Rush.
- A deep understanding of the social media landscape, including platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, and X.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Location
This position is based in New York City and operates on a hybrid schedule.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000. In addition to competitive pay, you will benefit from our hybrid work model, which offers flexibility in how and where you complete your best work.
