What you bring

We are looking for a Senior Combat Designer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. You will collaborate closely with our Game Director and design team to craft gameplay that resonates with our community. Your work will focus on the following core responsibilities:

• Conceiving and building innovative weapons, abilities, and broad combat systems.
• Moving rapidly from initial concepts to prototypes and final tuning.
• Working within tight iteration loops to incorporate player feedback effectively.

This position is available to candidates located anywhere, provided you can work within the required time zone alignment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a lifelong student of core combat mechanics with a deep understanding of what makes player-versus-player systems tick. You should possess at least five years of professional experience in the gaming industry and a proven track record of designing and implementing engaging combat loops. Proficiency in Unreal Engine is essential, as you will be expected to implement your designs directly. We value people who are highly collaborative, comfortable wearing many hats, and always act with the player's experience in mind. Fluency in English is required for this role.
