About the Role
We are searching for a Color Designer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will work closely with our Concept Design Manager and VP of Design to develop seasonal color palettes and visual assets. You will serve as a vital link in our creative process, ensuring that our color and pattern choices are both trend-forward and executed with precision. This position is perfect for a creative professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about sustainable design.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on seasonal trends, colors, and patterns to inform our design direction.
- Manage the end-to-end development of color dips and pattern approvals, including the creation of digital and physical palettes.
- Collaborate across departments, including Raw Materials, Merchandising, and Product Development, to ensure color feasibility and alignment with our performance goals.
Requirements
- Three to five years of professional experience in color design, color analysis, or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or a closely related design discipline.
- An exacting eye for color and pattern, paired with a natural ability to identify and interpret trends.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills to manage complex design projects effectively.
- A genuine desire to contribute to a diverse, collaborative team focused on environmental and consumer-centric goals.
Location
This is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco, United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is 68,000 USD to 100,000 USD. We are proud to offer a hybrid work environment to support our team members in balancing their professional and personal lives.
