CMF Designer Intern at Salomon

The role

We are looking for a CMF Designer Intern to join our Apparel team on an on-site internship in France. This student-level position offers hands-on experience supporting the Color, Material, and Finish team as we shape seasonal collections that reflect Salomon’s brand identity.

Core responsibilities

• Research emerging color, material, and finish trends for outdoor sports apparel and help translate those insights into seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and presentation materials.
• Support graphic designers in developing print and pattern concepts while maintaining organized strike-off, sample, color, and material libraries.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects by delivering timely design support and participating in short-term planning and execution with the CMF and Apparel Design teams.

Skills and experience

We welcome applications from students currently pursuing studies in design or a related field. You will need a solid foundation in graphic design, color theory, and trend research, along with strong organizational skills to manage material libraries and sample collections. Proficiency in English is required, and familiarity with design software used for creating mood boards and presentation materials will help you contribute effectively from day one.
