Role Overview:
Pelago is seeking an experienced client marketing leader who can develop and drive marketing strategies supporting client and member engagement, growth, and ROI. You will have access to a robust toolkit to develop engagement strategies, multi-channel campaigns, and a comprehensive channel strategy to unlock access to our eligible member populations. You’ll work collaboratively with Client Success to establish Pelago as a benefit adoption and utilization leader.
As a Client Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute marketing strategies to drive client engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This role involves understanding client needs, aligning marketing initiatives with business goals, and leveraging various channels to effectively communicate with our client populations (B2B2C). The Client Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in advancing our mission of ensuring everyone has access to substance use support.
In this role, you will...
- Deep dive into our clients to understand their population, demographics, and what makes them tick
- Analyze client data to identify opportunities for personalized marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive client marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Develop best practices that drive member acquisition and enrollment.
- Collaborate with the content team to create case studies, success stories, and other materials showcasing compelling member engagement strategies.
- Ensure clients are adopting an omnichannel approach to marketing, including email, direct mail, SMS, internal client channels, etc.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, provide reporting on marketing activities to clients, and pivot on strategy when needed.
- Manage communications and engagement workstream during new client launches.
The background we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
- Health plan marketing experience.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in healthcare.
- Proven experience in client marketing, account management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of client relationship management and client-centric marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
The provided range reflects our US target salary range for this full-time position, which is part of our broader total compensation package, including stock options, comprehensive benefits, and incentive pay applicable to eligible roles. Individual pay within the range will vary based on a variety of factors like role-related experience and education, internal pay equity, and other relevant business factors.
