We are Health Force, a startup building an AI Assistant that automates daily administrative work in hospitals so staff can spend more time with patients. Our platform is already live in several hospital groups in Italy and Austria and is expanding across Europe. We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer on a full-time, remote basis to guide the next stage of technical growth and European rollout.
Responsibilities
- Shape the overall technical direction of our healthcare AI platform and ensure every decision supports both product goals and strict data-protection standards.
- Lead the deployment of the AI Assistant into new hospitals, manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, and put security controls in place that meet European healthcare regulations.
- Build and mentor a cross-functional engineering team while working closely with Product and Business Development to turn company objectives into delivered features.
Requirements
- Executive-level experience leading technology teams and delivering complex software projects.
- Hands-on background deploying and scaling systems on AWS, together with a solid grasp of the full software-development lifecycle and project-management practices.
- Strong knowledge of security, quality-assurance processes, and data-privacy requirements, ideally gained in or alongside the healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with robotic-process-automation tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere, plus the ability to evaluate and adopt new AI technologies that improve platform performance.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
What we offer
- Equity compensation that gives every team member a stake in the company’s long-term success.
- Fully remote work with the freedom to choose your location and set flexible hours around a small set of core meeting times.
- Quarterly in-person meetups in pleasant locations so the team can plan together and recharge.
- Meeting-free Fridays, protected weekends, and generous paid time off.
- Budget and time for professional development so you can keep growing alongside the company.
