CG Motion Graphics Artist at Atomic Cartoons

Atomic Cartoons is looking for a talented CG Motion Graphics Artist to join our award-winning studio. With 25 years of history, we have built a reputation for creating hit animated productions like Princess Power and The Last Kids on Earth. Role at a glance

This is a full-time, senior-level position based in Canada. We offer a hybrid work environment, with options for remote work within British Columbia or in-studio collaboration for those located in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Your impact

• Design and animate engaging graphical elements and characters to enhance our productions.
• Develop high-quality graphical overlays to integrate seamlessly with rendered CG animation.
• Collaborate closely with the CG Supervisor, Technical Director, and the wider design and lighting teams to refine workflows and share creative ideas.

What you'll need

• Proven experience working as a designer on 3D animated series or features, specifically in a motion graphics capacity.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Solid production experience using Cinema 4D and a deep understanding of the 3D animation pipeline.
• A compelling design portfolio that showcases your motion graphics work.
• Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative spirit when taking direction from the Art Director.
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada, with residency in British Columbia as of December 31, 2023.
• Bonus points for experience with Blender, Maya, or the Maxon Red Giant Trapcode Suite.
