About the Role
We are hiring a CAD Technician for a part-time, on-site position. This role is perfect for a student who is eager to learn the ropes of civil engineering drafting and design while working alongside our experienced team of project managers and designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed engineering and construction drawings while strictly adhering to our internal CAD standards.
- Translate rough sketches and project markups into professional design sheets and final drawings.
- Develop clear visual aids and design specifications while learning our internal QA/QC procedures.
Requirements
Because this is an entry-level role, we are primarily looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow. You should have a foundational understanding of CAD, drafting, and design principles. We value candidates who are comfortable collaborating with team members, including those who may be working remotely. Proficiency in English is required to ensure clear communication across our project teams.
Location
This position is based at our office in Denison, Texas. You will be working on-site to ensure you have full access to our resources and team support.
