For over a century, Lasko Products has served as an industry leader in home environment solutions. From our origins in 1906, we have grown into a powerhouse that designs, manufactures, and distributes portable fans, heaters, humidifiers, and air purification systems under trusted brands like Lasko, Germ Guardian, Air King, and B-Air. With a market share in fans and heaters that is significantly larger than our closest competitors, we pride ourselves on our domestic manufacturing capabilities and our commitment to improving everyday life. We are currently seeking a Business Unit Director to lead our Heaters division, overseeing all aspects of this critical business unit as we continue to innovate and grow.
Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of the Heaters Business Unit, including P&L management, product development, and brand strategy.
- Drive profitable growth across both brick-and-mortar retail and eCommerce channels.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, ensuring successful product launches and effective commercialization.
- Utilize consumer research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and guide strategic decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to optimize product lifecycles and drive innovation.
- Establish and track key performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership regarding financial goals and project status.
- Guide packaging strategy, branding initiatives, and product claims to maintain our competitive edge.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a consumer products field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 10 years of proven success in global consumer product marketing, brand management, or product management for branded goods.
- Substantive experience managing P&L and a strong understanding of business financial drivers.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire teams, set a clear vision, manage change, and foster professional development.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify market trends, and present complex information clearly.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with high proficiency in tools like PowerPoint.
- The ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required by the business.
Preferred qualifications
- An MBA is highly preferred.
Compensation
We offer a hybrid work schedule to support a healthy work-life balance. The successful candidate will be expected to work from our office in West Chester, Pennsylvania, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays each week.
