At BIS Safety Software, we are a fast-paced and high-growth organization dedicated to providing industry-leading safety software. We are currently looking for a Senior Business Events Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis at our Sherwood Park, Alberta office. Responsibilities
- Drive event success by managing direct outreach to potential attendees, sponsors, and vendors to secure participation and booth sales.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, including crafting compelling pitches, emails, and presentations to attract top-tier speakers and partners.
- Oversee the end-to-end coordination of event logistics while collaborating with our marketing team to generate buzz and increase overall engagement.
Requirements
- A proven track record in event sales, sponsorship acquisition, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience planning and promoting events from the ground up, with bonus consideration for those with a background in B2B sales or digital marketing.
- A creative and innovative mindset, paired with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
