About the Role

Uniform is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Business Development team. Reporting to Marketing with a strong dotted line to sales, you will be on the front lines of our marketing and sales process responsible for strategically sourcing (outbound) and qualifying sales opportunities at targeted accounts though our account based marketing (ABM) program.

As a BDR, you will be working with Account Executives and marketing to strategically target key accounts as well as researching/developing accounts on your own to prospect into (outbound via video, email, phone and social). You will be conducting high level conversations with both Marketing and IT personas  to drive new business and achieve your monthly quota of qualified sales opportunities. Your focus is to multithread into marketing qualified accounts with the goal of scheduling meetings to discuss the value proposition of Uniform’s Visual Workspace.

What You’ll Work On

  • Marketing Qualified accounts who have the highest propensity to buy
  • Examine data around engagement of key personas to build the best plan to convert into a meeting with the assigned AE
  • Build consultative relationships with Marketing and IT personas to understand wants/needs of an organization.
  • Leverage video, phone, email, and social selling techniques to breakthrough to prospective customers.
  • Own weekly and monthly goals centered around activity & pipeline generation.

As a BDR You Can Expect to:

  • Undergo an  onboarding program to immerse yourself in the company, the role, and business development fundamentals.
  • Be exposed to various outbound pipeline generation activities that will afford you the opportunity to hone your skills as a salesperson.
  • Have daily interaction with your direct manager, teammates, or both, with a major focus on building a strategy to convert MQA’s into meetings
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales Team to drive improvement in the lead generation and sales cycles.

  • You are passionate to learn and looking for personal growth in sales or marketing
  • Experience prospecting into an existing customer base is an asset.
