About the Role
We are searching for a Business Development Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. In this mid-level role, you will work directly alongside our CEO and the broader business development team to build our sales pipeline. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging with prospective clients through creative outreach, and acting as a key ambassador for our suite of IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively research and identify target accounts, engaging with key decision-makers and C-suite stakeholders to generate interest in our services.
- Execute a high-volume outbound strategy, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, while utilizing tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and Sales Navigator.
- Attend networking events and build a sustainable pipeline of qualified leads, while helping to define the future blueprint for our internal business development processes.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a background that reflects your ability to connect with people and drive results. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
- Proven expertise in lead generation, prospecting, and managing workflows within CRM systems.
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to present to groups, lead meetings, and build lasting professional relationships based on integrity.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to think creatively, multitask, and adapt to the evolving needs of our business.
- A BA or BS degree in business or marketing is preferred, as is prior experience with MSP, VAR, or SaaS solutions.
Location
This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere, though you should be comfortable visiting potential client sites in San Francisco as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
We are committed to the well-being and long-term success of our team members. Our benefits package includes:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% coverage for employees and 50% for dependents.
- Financial security through a 401k plan with 4% company matching, plus an annual bonus program and a phantom equity program.
- Flexible time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
- Support for your professional growth through flexible learning and certification stipends.
- Additional perks such as commuter benefits, home internet and mobile reimbursement, a monthly meal stipend, and biannual company retreats.
