We are currently looking for a motivated professional to join Loka, the 2024 AWS Innovation Partner of the Year, for a focused three-month experiment running from February through April 2025. Our team is known for building high-impact solutions, such as advancing the world’s leading AI reading tutor, reducing food waste by one billion dollars, and accelerating critical cancer drug development. We operate with speed and precision, and we are now seeking a partner to help us expand our reach through strategic AWS-funded campaigns.
About the Role
We are hiring a Business Development Representative for a part-time, mid-level role. This position involves working directly with our CMO to drive pipeline growth and refine our business development processes. You will dedicate approximately 50 hours per month to this initiative, with the potential for the role to evolve into a long-term opportunity based on the success of this initial phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: You will drive the creation of 50 to 65 Marketing Qualified Leads and 6 to 13 Sales Qualified Leads by executing targeted campaigns focused on SMB growth.
- Pipeline Development: You will identify and nurture new business opportunities that align with AWS funding programs, ensuring we maintain a robust and self-controlled pipeline.
- AWS Relationship Management: You will act as a primary bridge between our team and AWS sales stakeholders, originating deals that support their priorities and strengthening our standing as a preferred partner.
Requirements
- Two to five years of experience in sales or business development, specifically within the cloud, SaaS, or technology sectors.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A strategic and analytical mindset with a strong focus on tracking ROI and data-driven results.
- Experience working with AWS sales teams or managing cloud-focused marketing campaigns is highly preferred.
- The ability to work independently as a self-starter within a structured, part-time professional framework.
- Fluency in English.
