Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and execute strategies to expand our market share in the new build, repair, maintenance, and social housing sectors.
- Generate and qualify high-potential leads while managing a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent conversion.
- Negotiate and close high-value agreements with key decision-makers, including contractors, developers, and housing providers.
- Maintain influential relationships with national key accounts and independent wholesale distributors to support long-term growth.
- Analyze market trends and sales data to provide accurate forecasts and actionable intelligence to our leadership team.
- Champion our product portfolio through compelling presentations and active participation in industry exhibitions and trade shows.
- Collaborate across internal departments, including marketing and product development, to ensure our solutions meet evolving customer needs.
Must-haves
- A proven track record of driving B2B sales growth, ideally within the construction or building products industry.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a high-value sales pipeline and negotiate complex deals.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite to track performance and manage data.
- An analytical mindset capable of interpreting market trends and identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
- A degree-level education in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- A valid UK driving license, as this role requires regular travel to customer sites and industry events.
- Fluency in English.
