Role at a glance
We are seeking a Business Development Lead to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that requires at least eight years of relevant experience. While we value flexibility, this role is on-site at our Clifton Park office, where you will be expected to work at least three days per week.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor a team of two business development representatives while fostering a culture of high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee the inbound lead process by ensuring inquiries are handled efficiently and converted into successful, funded projects.
- Drive strategic initiatives by collaborating closely with our marketing and technical teams to identify market needs and expand our reach.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a proactive communicator with a passion for technology and a talent for explaining complex concepts. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, a STEM field, or a related area.
- At least 8 years of experience in business development or a similar function.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience managing employees.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Fluency in English.
- Bonus points if you have 3 or more years of experience working within a technology services company.
