Aptos is looking for a Business Development Lead, Capital Markets

What is this role?

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Lead to focus on our Capital Markets initiatives. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates anywhere in the world. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our network by engaging with large financial institutions, including banks, lenders, and investment managers, to help them build innovative products on our platform.

What will you do?

  • Identify and vet financial services firms that are eager to integrate crypto and web3 features, ensuring we partner with organizations that align with our long-term goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end process of securing and closing significant partnerships that drive our mission forward.
  • Act as a bridge between the market and our internal teams by translating complex financial industry challenges into actionable product and engineering initiatives.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in business development and a deep understanding of the capital markets landscape. We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in business development or partnership roles within high-growth technology environments.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements that go beyond standard sales contracts.
  • Strong experience collaborating across departments, including legal, marketing, and technical engineering teams.
  • Deep market knowledge of the blockchain and crypto space, along with an established professional network among capital markets leaders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or JD.
  • Fluency in English.
