The role
We are seeking a Business Development Financial Sales Intern to join our team for an internship running from September 8, 2025, through December 18, 2025. This is an entry-level position designed for a student who is eligible to receive college credit. You will work remotely, though you must be available to operate within Eastern Standard Time and commit to a schedule of three days per week. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting our sales and marketing efforts while collaborating across our creative and client services departments.
Core responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate sales records within HubSpot, including logging call notes and updating account information.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a specific focus on the technology and financial services sectors.
- Support the broader business development team by conducting prospect research, assisting with sales logistics, and contributing to the development of strategic account plans.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should be a curious and organized self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. We value candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Strong written, oral, and listening communication skills.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to implement complex strategies.
- Proficiency with the Google Suite, including Docs and Sheets.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce is considered a significant advantage.
- A tech-savvy approach and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
- An outgoing personality and the confidence to engage with new people.
