What is this role?
We are hiring a Senior Business Development Advisor for a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Calgary. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role where you will oversee the full lifecycle of revenue generation. You will report directly to the Manager of Global Partnerships and play a key role in ensuring our organization has the resources needed to continue our work. Please note that all applicants must have valid Canadian work authorization, such as permanent residency, citizenship, or an open work permit, to be considered.
What will you do?
- Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, which includes crafting high-value grant applications and coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather the necessary documentation for on-time submissions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for our funders, building long-term relationships while managing ongoing communications, financial oversight, and reporting requirements.
- Oversee grant compliance by monitoring spending, ensuring adherence to both organizational policies and funder regulations, and collaborating with our finance and program teams to maintain accurate records.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in business development and relationship management. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple deadlines without sacrificing quality. You should be comfortable navigating the nuances of compliance and reporting, as well as working collaboratively across different departments. Proficiency in English is required, as you will be responsible for drafting persuasive proposals and maintaining clear, professional communication with our partners.
What's in it for you?

You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly support the expansion of our life-changing programs. We provide a supportive workplace culture that values professional execution and the development of efficient systems to help our team thrive.
