The role
We are looking for a Senior Business and Finance Writer/Editor to join our marketing team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will report to our Editorial Director and play a key role in our Research and Thought Leadership team, helping to position AlphaSense as a definitive authority in the financial intelligence space.
Core responsibilities
- Create high-quality, insightful content including blog posts, white papers, data-driven reports, and newsletters that resonate with financial services and corporate strategy professionals.
- Edit and proofread materials to ensure they maintain our brand voice, meet high editorial standards, and are free of errors.
- Optimize all content for SEO and collaborate with our data and design teams to integrate compelling visualizations that enhance the value of our research.
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience writing and editing within the finance, business, or investing sectors.
- A strong command of English and the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, engaging narratives.
- Proven expertise in SEO best practices and familiarity with content management systems and project management tools.
- A deep understanding of financial markets and the ability to interpret market trends to produce accurate, authoritative content.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and subject matter experts.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits:
