The Baltimore Banner is a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to providing high-quality, trustworthy journalism to the Baltimore metro area. We are looking for a Senior Brand Graphic Designer to join our team in a hybrid capacity and help us shape the visual future of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Protect and enforce our brand identity guidelines to ensure a consistent visual presence across all platforms.
- Develop high-quality visual assets for marketing, digital media, and various internal departments.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate project needs into effective design solutions.
- Design logos, icons, and other essential brand elements that resonate with our audience.
- Stay current with evolving design trends and bring innovative ideas to our branding strategy.
- Refine and iterate on designs based on collaborative feedback to meet our core objectives.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design and digital marketing.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or similar industry-standard design software.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a diverse range of branding and design projects.
- Proven ability to manage brand identity and maintain visual consistency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.

- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
