The Baltimore Banner is a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to providing high-quality, trustworthy journalism to the Baltimore metro area. We are looking for a Senior Brand Graphic Designer to join our team in a hybrid capacity and help us shape the visual future of our organization.

Responsibilities

Protect and enforce our brand identity guidelines to ensure a consistent visual presence across all platforms.
Develop high-quality visual assets for marketing, digital media, and various internal departments.
Partner with internal stakeholders to translate project needs into effective design solutions.
Design logos, icons, and other essential brand elements that resonate with our audience.
Stay current with evolving design trends and bring innovative ideas to our branding strategy.
Refine and iterate on designs based on collaborative feedback to meet our core objectives.

Must-haves

At least 5 years of professional experience in graphic design and digital marketing.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or similar industry-standard design software.
A strong portfolio that demonstrates a diverse range of branding and design projects.
Proven ability to manage brand identity and maintain visual consistency.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000 USD.
